A never ending survival, where you need teamwork!
I'm currently mapping the things people told me to do in the comments. But due to a friend who showed me a wonderfull prank on my PC, I had to reinstall Windows again...I saved the files with Linux and now I'm installing all the programs and that stuff. So it may take some more time, but I WILL update that map.
This is an survival map for Left 4 Dead 2, which was made of an MiP from jiimbob. It was meant for Left 4 Dead but I worked and ported it into Left 4 Dead 2. You have to survive in a base as long as you can. You have infinite time to prepare. But once you started the generator, the base becomes bright and the battle begins!
More Informations are in the readme file.

I like hope, frankly. So in my opinion, yes, there should be an ending. Also, good on you for taking people's advice on board. Just remember not to use repetitive textures, bad lighting, few misc props. And make sure the island and story is realistic. Why is the stronghold there? Where has everyone gone? ect.
I meant if I should make it like an campaign. With start and end. Sorry for saying it a bit wrong. I think I make it both...I compile it with and without ending. I think this would be the best.
isn't survival infinite anyways? its not like a campaign or finale where someone rescues the survivors
-Environment: Working on it. (It's an island and you start at the coast, run up to the base...) -Story: Check -Different buildings: Almost done. -Less lights: Check -Hpw the lights are powered: Won't change it. You turn on the generator...the lights go on, what attrackts the zombies and starts the survival.
A little question: Should it end? I mean with something like an helicopter or boat? Or should it stay infinite?
This. Exactly this.
Oke, I'm doing it...
Nobody wants to play on a barren wasteland. D:
And turn off filmgrain when taking screenshots...it makes it look like even less effort was made to make this....
No. There is a flat plain and you can easily tell that this was a quick make. Make cliffs, steep drops, etc. TELL A STORY. It's the decline of humans, so, naturally, chaos would pursue. Fallen buildings, broken bridges, cars overturned, tankers exploded - it all adds up to the point that you want the player to see the sights of a zombie apocalypse and hear the sounds. This lacks effort - duplicate buildings, way too many lights - and how would those lights be powered?
