L4D2 Preload

By Guest 4 years ago

Just click the link and start preloading L4D2. Why wait until the game comes out, if you can start now and avoid the jammed steam servers around 17th November?

Preload It Now Alternativly you can use steam://preload/550 - just type it into your browser.

Posted by Reapэr You've got 10 days to do it, hurry up then.
And I've got 10 days to buy this game. However I don't know where you guys live in, but at least here in Finland the games hit the selves at the exact date of release, sometimes even before of the release. It sounds like you've got fucked up stores there :>

I am getting my l4d2 on monday. It's not fucked up because steamgames wont be playable untill they unclock it ;D

If you really don't want to click the link or go to the url you can right click on the game in steam and choose view pre-load info. The download can be started from there.

Posted by focus. I don't care if I get the game like a day later, why would I? Of course, I can't wait to play it. But it's it's just one day, and it's probably cheaper on retail. (in Sweden)
You'd care when you end up with no servers to play on from mass amounts of people on.

That's a good point. But personally I'd just wait for a while until it cools down, or play when there's not as many Online. I won't change my mind. I'm getting the game for x-mas or buying it on retail the day it hit the stores.

Posted by focus. Why use the jammed steam servers when you can wait until the game comes out and buy it on retail.
They aren't jammed at all. I downloaded it at max speed in only 30 minutes. The issue with retail is that it won't be out on the day of release, they arrive in the store on the day of release, but they only go on shelves the next day. Also, the hassle of going to the store to pick it up is worse when you can just pre-load it in advance, you've got 10 days to do it even if the servers are jammed. Then you can crank that shit up as soon as the game is available, that's what me and my buddies did on the demo release day. We were in a chat eagerly waiting to kill some zombie shit.

The Steam servers are currently too busy to handle any more preloads of Left 4 Dead 2. Please try again in a few hours.
