Replaces the "combat rifle" / "desert rifle" with the likeness of an M4, a 3-rd burst military rifle.
This model differs from my "Weathered M4" with a far better normal map, more realistic proportions on the rail handguard and rear sight, and brand new material+texture.

Do you mind if I remove the sounds and re-VPK it? Because I have my own set of sfx on which I prefer and I don't want it to conflict.
I love this mod and i downloaded it. But my only problem is that when i put the files and do everything, when i pick up the scar its still the scar not the m4. Could anyone help me?I put the .vpk file into add ons and i downlaoded the left 4 dead 2 add-on support. I also downloaded arbys pistol skin and that worked fine but this doesnt

Oh for the love of .... This beauty gets released as a Vert-Grip Version for the SCAR, an M-16 Replacement for L4D1, it even gets into CSS as an M-4 Replacement but won't come out as a Replacement for L4D2's M-16 ?! >.<

Model and normals are great. Textures are quite plain,but still love the result. Would apriciate if you will submit this for L4D .
I think, the model is already for L4D avaible, just for a different weapon (M16 instead of the SCAR)
