Frank West for Nick V3

Nick skin based off of Frank West from Dead Rising

Re-skin by DragonNinja, Original Skin by Valve.

Someone mentioned that a Frank West style skin would be cool for Nick so I kinda threw this together and decided to actually release it.

Since the previous version I've tweaked it further, added more blood, desaturated his trousers and added a slight leather effect to the jacket to be a bit more accurate to the image of Frank in the render.

Comes in .vpk format for easy installation, just pop it in the addons folder within your L4D2 install directory, usually steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2.

Nice job, but overall, I like the original version better. While the desaturation on the pants was a much-needed fix, the leather effect on the jacket just stretches too much because of how the game handles his textures. It's also too shiny. Didn't care for the blood either.

I perferred to take your original version and desaturate the pants myself and use that. This is still an awesome skin though, nice job.

Well, it's working fine for me. This was taken in a Versus match earlier this morning, as you can see it does work. You could check the tutorials pages for more detailed instructions and make any changes as needed.

Yea, my dumb ass saved it as a .txt instead of .vpk.

Improvements: Reduce the reflectiveness of the jacket. Notes: I would like it if there was a "clean" version without the blood. Overall: It is still awesome.

I think the old original version I made for the demo has no blood, the servers never updated to a version with blood properly, you could yank the texture out of that one.

That one was made with manual installation in mind though, but if you know what you're doing you should be fine.
