Uncut patch for German users?

As some of you probably know or have guessed, our oppressors decided to censor this game. The improved gore and addition of the G3 SG1 were actually the only reasons for me to buy this game.

Has anyone heard about a way to uncensor the demo? maybe importing files from an american demo or something? Because a.) we have no flying limbs or holes in the body b.) corpes fade away IMMEDIATELY after dying.

Stupid right? damn straight, and it totally ruins the experience.

    I know what you mean, i bought css in germany cd retail version and it censored all my games, even though i'm not german....i solved it by simply uninstalling the game but since you have the cut version you may try this trick

    I doubt porting anything would even work, and i doubt anyone will bother making a 'patch' such as this for the demo. you're better off waiting for the full game to release- i guarantee someone will patch it then.

    Change its steamappid from what the german number is to: 590, that should work.(make sure to remember what the original number was if this did not work)
