By TheonenameART 10 months agoI got left 4 dead 2 from gamestop but, I always get this duplicate product code error when I put in the product code, I think it was because I put the game on the other account, I try uninstall from the other account, but the game is still in the game library,I try gifting it to myself but I had to pay it. Can somebody help me put my l4d2 game to my main account?
You cannot use the code on more than one account. When you activate it on an account that is the only account you can use it on.
If you installed the game on the other account you have to play it on the other account
You know what, the other account belongs to my bother, he let me uninstall it
It's stuck forever on the other account then. Uninstalling it doesn't help.
Will this is bull crap!
He owns that copy till the end of time. If you want to both be able to play the game then you both need to buy it. Not bullshit, normal operating procedure, it's why cd keys exist.
